Not in that hip, groovy, cool way. Since I’ve installed it, Outlook 2007 is hanging and I can’t make changes to the search configuration. I’ve even gone into Outlook and disabled any add-ins that could be conflicting, but WDS continues to choke.
I’ve been limping along with Lookout because it beats the pants off of Outlook’s built-in search (or, more appropriately, “blind grope in the dark”). But I’ve run into some conflicts with Lookout because you have to hack a bit to get it to work.
Fortunately, I just found out about a couple of modified .dlls you can load which do away with the need for “major” hacking and seem to work just fine.
If I can spare some time, I’ll probably take a look at Xobni, though Lookout has pretty much taken care of my needs up until now.
Fluorescent light bulbs can interfere with home wireless access point.
Been fighting network interference for weeks because of this.
I just registered for Gnomedex 8. This will be the third year in a row for me. I blame Nick for getting me hooked.
Not officially, of course. But the hull number of my submarine, the USS Florida, was SSBN 728, and because of the way my brain is wired, whenever I see the date, 7/28, it makes me think of that.
A few years ago, the Florida was converted to an SSGN which means they removed the Trident missile capability and configured it with conventional missiles and support for special ops. Except for that whole “King’s Bay, GA,” thing, I’m pretty jealous.
