The Olympian reports that Washington State Senator Karen Keiser is proposing a tax on cosmetic surgery. All obvious joking aside, what are those boobs thinking?

Country music is okay when it’s for a good cause

Nick Bradbury helped sponsor MaxItOut, a charity which supports menengitis education and research. As a sponsor, his software logos were shown on stage during performances by country music artists such as Keith Urban, Wynonna and Faith Hill.

Good for Nick, except…he didn’t put any pictures of Faith Hill on his blog to back up his claim!

I have yet to understand how forcing Democracy down the throat of another country or culture will succeed. I’m sure if I look, I will find that the authority to do so isn’t declared in the Constitution since the Founding Fathers probably considered it to be something that the people should bring about for themselves.

Washington State election reform, isn’t.

My buddy over at Minute of Angle has some recommendations for Secretary of State Sam Reed. The only problem I can see with this is that it may be perceived as making voting hard to do. I’m not really sympathetic to that view, though.
